This module was created as part of the Blended & Online Learning Design (BOLD) Fellows Program, offered through Vanderbilt University's Center for Teaching and Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL). The module was originally created as supplementary course material for graduate speech-language-pathology and deaf education students, but it is also a suitable introduction to hearing aids for undergraduates and hearing aid users interested in learning more about their devices.
The creator of this module, Dr. Travis Moore, holds a clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the Vanderbilt School of Medicine, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from the Vanderbilt Graduate School in auditory neurophysiology.
